St Francis of Assisi is my favourite saint, as he is the Patron saint of animals.
His feast day is October 4th, which has been declared World Animal Day.
St Francis teachs us that all of creation is part of Gods work, and he loved all of creation.
I particularly would like to understand this love he had for God Creatures, and what St Francis can teach us in how we relate to our pets and the rest of creation.
My favourite story is about the Wolf of Gubbio that Francis tames.
